Position Summary

Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and St. Joseph School in Pierre, SD is seeking a Full-Time Custodian to join our team immediately! This position is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning, upkeep, and other facility needs of our assigned buildings — ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff, students, and parishioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of assigned facilities
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment for staff and students
• Address facility needs as they arise throughout the day
• Work both independently and cooperatively with others to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly

Requirements

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet throughout the workday
• Must pass a South Dakota background check

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Benefits: Position is eligible for health benefits
• Location: Pierre, South Dakota
