Join Our Team as a Bookkeeper / Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bookkeeper / Accountant to join the St John the Baptist Pastorate in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for daily accounting, cash receipts, accounts payable, payroll, monthly financial statement preparation and end of year duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting
• Tracking cash receipts
• Processing accounts payable
• Processing payroll
• Prepare monthly and end of year financial statements

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Previous experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar setting is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active and practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
